GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

Every term a topic is picked from either science, geography, history or social studies and taught throughout term during the general studies lesson. The classroom displays are changed at the beginning of each term to reflect this topic. This topic is further reinforced during the art lessons and educational field trips. Some of the topics covered include families, homes and buildings; animals; plants, occupations and parts of the body among others. Standard Two's and Three's are expected to research on the general topic and are examined at the end of the term.
